Sugar Cookie Frosting (Gluten-Free)

Sugar cookie frosting is sheer culinary magic, turning ordinary cookies into delectable works of art. SERVINGS: Enough for 30 (2.5inch cookies)

MAKE TIME: 15 MIN

TOTAL TIME: 20 MIN


INGREDIENTS
  • 1/2 cup Butter (softened)

  • 3 cups Powdered Sugar

  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

  • 2 tablespoons Milk or Heavy Cream


DIRECTIONS
  1. Place softened butter in a mixing bowl and beat with a hand mixer until it's light and fluffy.

  2. Add powdered sugar and blend together.

  3. Add unflavored milk or heavy whipping cream and blend till smooth.

  4. Add vanilla extract and blend.

 
NOTES:

- Add ½ teaspoon almond extract with vanilla extract. You can also use other extracts: such as lemon, orange, mint, etc.

- For chocolate frosting add 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder. You may need to add more milk/whipping cream.
