Heat your deep-frying oil to 350-365° F. Or prepare your air fryer for use.
Spread dry Batter Mix across a baking pan or large plate.
In a mixing bowl, add your beer or water to 1 cup of the Inspiration Bakery and Mixes Batter Mix.
Vegan Option or Tempura Style: use club soda instead of beer or water.
If desired, add an egg to make batter crispier. For vegan option and tempura style, omit egg. Whisk until the batter is well-blended and then set aside for at least 5 minutes. Dip and roll the fish, chicken, seafood, or vegetables in the wet batter mixture, then roll the food in dry Batter Mix. For Vegan Option and Tempura Style, do not roll in dry mix.
Fry until cooked [if deep-fried, approximately 1-2 minutes for vegetables, 2-4 minutes for fish/seafood, 4-6 minutes for chicken].
Remove your Crispy Batter-Fried Goodies from your fryer and place on paper towels to drain, if needed. Keep warm in 140° F or greater oven until served.
Discard any unused batter.
