Our test bakers and clients have found lots of uses for Inspiration Bakery and Mixes Crispy Batter Mix. For example, we've eaten a lot of great crispy veggies like onion rings, whether they were made in a frying pan, an oven, or an air fryer.
With this recipe, we are giving you a great Oven-Baked Breaded Chicken Breast option, using the same mix. Can be made dairy-free. Always Gluten-Free!

Ingredients
  

Oven-Baked Breaded Chicken Breast

  • 6 Chicken Breasts (skinless, boneless)
  • 6 Tablespoons Butter or Margarine
  • 1 Teaspoon Minced Garlic
  • 1/2 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce Check to make sure it is gluten-free
  • 1/2 Cup Potato Chips (finely crushed)
  • 1/2 Cup Inspiration Bakery and Mixes Crispy Batter Mix
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Dry Mustard
  • 2 Tablespoons Ranch Dressing (dry mix) Check for dairy ingredients if you want your dish to be dairy-free
  • 2 Tablespoons Parmesan Cheese (fresh) It may be made dairy-free by substituting a non-dairy product such as vegan cheese
  • 1 Tablespoon Poultry Seasoning

Breaded Chicken Baking Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350° F.
  • Line your 9" by 13" baking dish with aluminum foil.
  • In your pie pan or another baking dish, whisk the finely crushed potato chips, the Inspiration Bakery & Mixes Crispy Batter Mix, dry ranch dressing, parmesan cheese, and poultry seasoning together. Set your dry mixture aside.
  • Melt your butter or margarine and garlic together in your skillet. Then add your dry mustard and Worcestershire sauce to the butter-garlic mixture. Remove the skillet from heat and let cool until safe to touch but still warm.
  • One at a time, roll your chicken breasts in the butter-garlic mixture and then roll each one in the dry mixture. Put each chicken breast in the foil-lined pan.
  • Bake your chicken breasts uncovered for 50-60 minutes until the outside crust is brown. If you have a temperature probe, check to see that the breasts have achieved 165°F internal temperature before removing them from your oven. Serve your Oven-Baked Breaded Chicken Breasts hot.
