EGG SUBSTITUTES
When using an egg substitute, the recipe may require additional leavening, baking soda and or baking powder.
Alanah’s and Jordyn’s Cookie Mixes
1 TBL flax seed and 3 TBL water (mixed) replaces one egg.
OR you can use
Energy Egg Replacer per instructions + 2 Tablespoons applesauce.
Ol’ Fashioned Pancake & Waffle Mix
1 TBL flax seed plus 3 TBL water (mixed) replaces one egg.
Delicious Chocolate Cake & Brownie Mix
Energy E Replacer, or equivalent: 6 teaspoons Energy Egg Replacer plus 8 Tablespoons water to replace 4 eggs.
Millet Oat Bread & Baking Mix and
Mom’s Homemade Baking Mix
1 TBL flax seed and 3 TBL water (mixed) replaces one egg.
Pie Crust
2 ounces Cream Cheese, Coconut “Yogurt” (So-Delicious), or applesauce (with or without cinnamon)
½ tsp Baking Powder
Dad’s Pizza Crust
1 TBL flax seed and 3 TBL water (mixed) replaces one egg.
Add ½ teaspoon baking powder
